Paediatric First Aid (12 Hours) – Blended Learning

About — 1 day practical + 1 day e-learning

This innovative course blends 6hrs of practical training with 6hrs of eLearning. The eLearning module can be completed either before or after the practical day. Our eLearning uses the latest training techniques to maximise recall and provide learners with the skills, knowledge and confidence to act effectively when paediatric emergencies arise.

The course when delivered with 6 hours of practical training meets EYFS/Ofsted requirements and CSSIW and Scottish Early Years.

Course structure

Our blended paediatric first aid course is in 2 parts which can be taken in any order:

1. Complete your at-home e-learning module. This training session can be completed on a computer or mobile device. You will receive a link to the e-learning module when you book the course. You can login/log out as many times as needed.
2. Your practical training session under the guidance of one of our professional, dynamic and experienced trainers guides you through all the practical life-saving techniques.

• Neck or Back Injuries

• Burns & Scalds (recap)

• Meningitis
• Minor Injuries
• Fevers
• Poisons
• Electric Shock

• Extreme Temperatures
